We got a late start today (the Glebas are so jealous), and headed out for breakfast around 11:00 AM. We decided to check out Canter’s Deli, which is just a few blocks away from my apartment. They have a huge menu and are open 24 hours, so it was definitely a restaurant we wanted to visit.
After breakfast we tried to go to Malibu. When I say tried, I mean the GPS for some reason took us an hour south instead of north, so we ended up in Long Beach. I have no idea how that happened! I think I’m going to retire the Garmin and starting using Waze from now on. I called Jenny J to find out what we should do in Long Beach, and she suggested we visit Rosie’s Dog Beach to get our doggy fix.
The highlight of the day was later that evening when we went to see X-Men: Apocalypse in 4DX at the Regal LA LIVE Stadium. It was the first time either of us had been to a 4DX movie, and it did not disappoint. Good thing because the tickets were like $25 each! I look forward to one of these types of theaters opening in Cleveland.

The first Guns N’ Roses publicity photo was taken in a Canter’s booth. I guess the owner and Slash have been friends since they were kids!

Shell was shellin’ today!

I’m ready for our first 4DX movie! I totally look like Scott/Cyclops with my crazy red eye.
