I really don’t even know what to say about the meal I had today. It was glorious. And did I mention the cocktails? Incredible. If you are ever in Las Vegas, you must go to Herringbone for brunch.

Sadly our stay in Vegas was short, but I couldn’t wait to get back to LA! As we traveled through the Valley back to West Hollywood Jenny J made a surprise pit stop….CIRCUS LIQUOR! Jen and I like to think of ourselves as Cher and Dionne, so this spot holds a special place in our hearts. For those of you who are not fans of the movie Clueless (shame on you!), I’ll set the scene:

Cher is at a party in the Valley. Her dad calls her and tells her to get home in 20 minutes. EVERYWHERE IN LA TAKES 20 MINUTES! Since she’s in the Valley she’s in a bit of a pickle because that’s like 35 minutes away. Her friend Elton offers to give her a ride home, but when she doesn’t let him kiss her he abandons her at Circus Liquor! Then there is a mugging scene, but we’ll skip that part. My dad is probably reading this post and I keep telling him that LA is very safe. Anyways, Cher is forced to call her step brother to come pick her up. Ultimately Cher and her step brother get together, so everything happened for a reason. Yay!

Man I love that movie. I might need to hit some more location spots while I’m on this adventure!
